Hiking is a great way to stay fit and active. Ascents will get your cardio going and descents are a good low-impact muscle building workout engaging quads, hamstrings and calfs. By using poles you'll also work arms, shoulders and back. And being outdoors also means you'll reduce your stress levels and general sense of well-being.
DETAILS * Meet up at 8:45 a.m. on a Thursday morning * Meet up location changes every week but will be in La Côte area (between Nyon, Col de La Givrine and Col du Marchairuz). * Return to cars by 11:30 a.m. * Equipment needed: hiking boots/shoes, backpack and trekking poles. * Cost: CHF 35.-/hike * Minimum 3 participants to confirm date

We will still hit the trails. UNLESS the weather conditions make it unsafe for us to ensure a safe outing.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT SNOWS?
If there is sufficient snow, we will start our snowshoe cardio outings.
